We have just received confirmation that our Heritage Lottery Grant is now complete. Church is now much drier and pleasanter to worship in. I just thought that this is the ideal time to write and thank you and your team for all your hard work producing our new church website in 2016. We at St. Mary’s are so pleased we chose you to develop the site. We particularly appreciated that you took the time to get to know us and understand what we needed from a website. When the site went live last year we received excellent and immediate feedback. The Heritage Lottery Fund said that the site was outstanding and would be used as an exemplar to show other groups applying for a grant the standards that can be achieved. The Bishop of Burnley said we had set a very high standard of outreach with our website, one that other parishes should aim to achieve. The Archdeacon of Blackburn was impressed that the calendar worked in real time and provided accurate information for visitors. I still go to look at the virtual tour and the timeline. I have yet to see another timeline like ours on a website. It is a starting point when talking to visitors in church and appeals to all ages. Personally, what I appreciate most is that you have not created the site and then abandoned us. We try to maintain the site ourselves but I always know that when I get stuck you are only an email away! This support helps us to keep the website relevant to our needs and really is appreciated. Long may this successful partnership continue.
